Plantation Lakes Home Owners' Association Meeting
January 12, 2012
Olive Branch's B. J. Chain Library 7P.M.


President Keith Dial opened the meeting by welcoming those who were in attendance.
He expressed thanks to God for our being Americans and for our neighbors and then
asked attendees to observe a moment of silence for those serving our military.


Before reviewing our PLHOA's 2011 accomplishments, Keith said
that our neighborhood theme for 2012 is "Take Pride." He mentioned that the $14
increase in the 2012 Association dues was necessary to maintain the upkeep of our
various neighborhood needs. Then he introduced our two new board members, Teresa
Davis and Mike Cianciolo, who were appointed due to the resignations oftwo former
members.


One of our members Nikki then thanked Keith for his leadership of the Association
especially in patrolling the neighborhood along with two Board members, Neal Edwards
and Mike Cianciolo. Next, Keith called on the Board members to report on projects
on which they are working.


Bill Lloyd-PLHOA website
He distributed copies of the website's opening page along with a list of the
Board's e-mail addresses. He also informed us that one part of our website
has a chat page for members only. Bill was commended by several for such a lovely
website and for it's up-to-date information.


Teresa Davis-Spring Yard Sale
This is scheduled for Sat., April 7, 2012. She distributed a flier regarding
this event. She also said that she has already contacted the Olive Branch police
and our neighborhood's courtesy patrol's office for extra security during this day.


Keith Dial/Paula Wilkinson-Neighborhood Watch Patrol
Paula and her husband, Jim, have been chairing this group. Since Jim has resigned
Keith mentioned that he is seeking a volunteer to chair this group. He also
thanked Paula and Jim for their dedication to this group.


Neal Edwards, vice-president-Facebook Page, etc.
Neal does maintain our PLHOA Facebook page as well as helping with the neighborhood
watch patrol. He also observed that the big lake's eco system was out of balance
so he organized the re-stocking of fish.


Linda Toombs, secretary-Yard of the Month/Christmas Decorations
Five homes were chosen "Yard of the Month": 9569 Michigan (June), 9116
Superior (July), 9075 Champlain (August), 9278 Lakeside (September) and
9673 Tahoe (October). The recipient of the 2011 Christmas Decorations was
9642 Geneva Loop N.


Mike Cianciolo-Maintenance
Bids are being sought for the maintenance of the three entrances to our neighborhood
as well as the commons areas and the areas around all of the lakes.



The next item of business was a question/answer session.
Discussion included the following items:
1. The courtesy patrol is active again after the Holidays.
2. Lights on the courtesy patrol vehicles is to let ALL know that they are "on the job."
3. Trees around the big lake will be trimmed when necessary.
4. Dale Dickerson, a resident who is an Olive Branch Alderman, mentioned that the pot
holes, broken pavement, etc. on Tahoe between the lakes has been re-surfaced as well
as areas on Hickory Drive. All present applauded that improvement and thanked Dale
for his role in getting this done.
5. Dale also reported that Stateline Rd. between Riverdale and Alexander will finally
be repaired after much discussion and negotiations with the City ofMemphis. Memphis
will do the work and the City of Olive Branch will pay Y, of the expense.
6. Requests for an up-dated list of homeowners with phone numbers and/or e-mail
addresses was made. Keith will investigate this request with Tammy Moss at the
Keith Collins Management Co.
7. Concern was expressed regarding speeding in the neighborhood and running stop
signs. Keith said that the courtesy patrol will be a deterrent when they are
patrolling. Dale also said that he would ask the Olive Branch police to patrol
our neighborhood more frequently.
Keith thanked Dale, a past president of the PLHOA, for representing our neighborhood
as an Olive Branch Alderman and for his accomplishments that have benefited our
neighborhood as well as our city.
